2 DAYS TSAVO EAST SAFARI

Day 1

Early morning pick-up from your hotel or agreed meeting point, followed by a scenic drive north along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway. Enjoy breathtaking views of the vast Tsavo plains with the Taita Hills in the distance before entering Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. Home to the famous Red Elephants, Tsavo East offers rewarding game drives across open savannahs and woodlands, with chances to spot lions, cheetahs, and large buffalo herds. Arrive at Satao Camp for lunch.

After lunch and a short rest, head out for an evening game drive, returning to the camp at sunset.

Satao Camp offers a classic “Out of Africa” safari experience with elegant en-suite tented accommodation, warm hospitality, and excellent cuisine. The 20 safari-style tents, including 4 spacious suites, are set under tamarind trees overlooking a natural waterhole, offering privacy and uninterrupted wildlife views. The camp is also well adapted to accommodate guests with disabilities.

Overnight Ashnil Aruba or similar on Full Board basis.

Day 2

Early morning game drive, this is an opportunity to see some nocturnal animals returning from the night hunts. After this, return to the camp for breakfast followed by checkout, departing for Mombasa arriving in the afternoon.

Cost Includes

  • All transport and game drives on road safaris will be in a 4×4 or minibus vehicle maximum 7 clients per vehicle (with seven window seats).
  • Meals and accommodation as specified
  • All park fees and government taxes
  • ½ litre bottle mineral water per person per day on game drives only.

  • Driver-guide gratuities
  • Drinks, dining rooms tips, porterage, Personal travel, baggage and medical insurance
  • All drinks and meals unless stated above
  • Visa fees wherever applicable
  • Laundry message and other personal expenses e.g minibars and telephone unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice

This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.

  • We may have to re-route the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability.

Passenger Information

  • Passengers should bring soft sided bags on safaris.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If cancelled 45 days from safari date – full refund
  • If cancelled between 44 – 16 days from safari date 25% of the booking value will be charged 
  • If cancelled between 15 – 8 days from safari date 50% of the booking value will be charged 
  • If cancelled 7 days from safari date and No Show – 100% of the booking value will charged
