Day 1
Pick up from Moi international airport or city hotel or pre-agreed pick up point. After a short briefing by your driver guide, you will depart and drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi road heading north following the route of the railway line. Soon the vast plains of Tsavo become visible in the distance with Taita hills on the horizon. Enter Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest wildlife sanctuary through Bachuma gate. The park holds the country’s largest elephant population, popularly known as the Red Elephant. The game drive meanders through the vast plains interspersed with woodlands that behold captivating views of the Taita Hills and the impressive Yatta plateau. Exploring the hinterlands of the park is a rewarding experience with opportunities of seeing Lions, Cheetahs or the great herds of Buffaloes stampeding across the plains, arriving at Aruba Lodge for lunch. After lunch followed by a brief rest, continue on an evening game drive returning to the lodge at sundown.
There are 40 deluxe rooms at Ashnil Aruba Lodge and each have a terrace overlooking the plains or the Aruba dam. The rooms are comfortable ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms also contain an ensuite toilet and shower facility with bathroom accessories. Aruba Lodge is on the northern bank of Aruba Dam constructed across the Voi River in 1952. This makes it a favorite sport for large mammals especially the herds of elephants that are often colored red from the soil, and are quite a spectacle. The park is home to the Burchells zebra, the Maasai giraffe, impala, Grants Gazelle, Lesser Kudu, Cape buffalo and others. If you are lucky the rare Hirola or Hunter’s hartebeest can be spotted. Lions, cheetah and the occasional leopards and a myriad species of birds are also residents of the park.

Day 2
After an early breakfast depart for Amboseli national park. Driving northwards on the main highway passing Hunters Lodge, which is the sight of the ‘man eaters of Tsavo’ incident where two large lions apparently would drag and eat the railway builders back in the 18th century. Continue your drive to the next town Emali, After Emali drive south to Amboseli National park. On a clear day you will catch a glimpse of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro direct ahead, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After an afternoon at leisure, set out into the national park for a game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Amboseli is home to iconic wildlife, hosting also four of the big five, from lions to the graceful zebras and countless of bird species in its swamps and wet lands. The park is home to large number of elephants creating the perfect opportunity for an up-close view of up to fifty herds of elephants in one safari, making it a prime destination for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.
Just next to Kimana gate, on the border of Amboseli national park, you will find Setrim Amboseli camp. The camp enjoys fantastic views of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro has 62 tents Inside each tent you will find the latest in luxury camping. There are soft beds and ensuite bathrooms with a steaming hot shower. Lying North West of Mount Kilimanjaro Amboseli National park covers 392km2 and forms part of the much larger Amboseli ecosystem. Large concentrations of wildlife occur here in the dry season, making Amboseli a popular tourist destination.

Day 3
After an early breakfast and game drive, depart for Taita hills arriving in time for lunch. After which, depart for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets. After dinner, set out on a night game drive this time with a chance to see the nocturnal wildlife in their habitat.

Day 4
After breakfast, enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge mid-morning for departure to Mombasa, arriving in the afternoon.
