Taita Hills Safari - Train
Day 1
You will be met and briefed at the train terminus by Prime time representative before boarding the Madaraka intercounty train to Voi. Once you reach Voi, you will meet the driver at the station car park, holding a placard with the company name – Transfer to the Lodge through the picturesque Taita Hills countryside arriving at Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa in time for lunch, after which, proceed to Saltlick safari lodge for check-in. After a brief relaxation, depart for an evening game drive within Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Day 2
Early morning game drive, returning to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast. Relax at the lodge as you experience wildlife at the waterhole or tour the hotel with an opportunity to take pictures. At around midday, you will be picked up and transferred to Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa for lunch followed by an afternoon at leisure. Pickup and game drive enroute back to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, enjoy the bar experience at Salt Lick’s lounge raised on stilts overlooking the waterhole which attracts a wide variety of animals, this provides guests with incredible opportunities to observe wildlife up close. There is also underground tunnels and bunkers, that allow for very close and safe viewing of the animals as they come to the water hole.

Day 3
Early morning breakfast followed by transfer to Voi train station for your departure.

Cost Includes
- All transport and game drives on road safaris will be in a 4×4 or minibus vehicle maximum 7 clients per vehicle (with seven window seats).
- Meals and accommodation as specified
- All park fees and government taxes
- ½ litre bottle mineral water per person per day on game drives only.

- Driver-guide gratuities
- Drinks, dining rooms tips, porterage, Personal travel, baggage and medical insurance
- All drinks and meals unless stated above
- Visa fees wherever applicable
- Laundry charges, messages and other personal expenses e.g minibars and telephone unless otherwise stated.
Additional remarks
- Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.
- We may have to re-route the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability.
Passenger Information
- Passengers should bring soft sided bags on safaris.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- If cancelled 45 days from safari date – full refund
- If cancelled between 44 – 16 days from safari date 25% of the booking value will be charged
- If cancelled between 15 – 8 days from safari date 50% of the booking value will be charged
- If cancelled 7 days from safari date and No Show – 100% of the booking value will charged
